WATCH NOW - New video from 2024’s “The We in Me”

June 26, 2024

We are thrilled to announce that new video documentation from The We in Me: Beyond House Resilience at The Box is now available. The recap video was filmed and edited by London Jones and Carlos Olivas, with production assistance from Kids In The Spotlight. There is also a full length video for your enjoyment!

Beyond House Resilience was a creative platform by MoFundamentals in partnership with homeLA that showcased perspectives on houselessness and resilience through art from and by current and former foster youth artists, adoptees, and advocates. The festival-style event included: dance instruction, dance, short film screenings, and a rap performance along-side booths by food and coffee vendors, entrepreneurs, support organizations, plus free sportswear giveaways for attending foster youth.

This activity is supported in part by an Impact Grant by the California Arts Council, a state agency. Learn more at www.arts.ca.gov
